Chuck Berry Knows How To Rock

Charles Edward Anderson "Chuck" Berry was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter who was born in St. Louis, Missouri in the year 1926,  October 18. He is considered as on of the pioneers of rock and roll. According to the Hall of Fame, "While no individual can be said to have invented rock and roll, Chuck Berry comes the closest of any single figure to being the one who put all the essential pieces together".


He was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during the introductory time of its emergence in the year 1986. In 2000, he received the "Kennedy Center Honors". In the following years, he ranked number 6 among 100, on the Rolling Stone rankings and in the same year, he was placed among The Immortals: The First Fifty. Among the 500 songs that modeled Rock and Roll, Chuck sang "Johnny B. Good", "Maybellene" and the "Rock and Roll Music". He laid the stance for the Rock and Roll music.


The rock and roll music got its most archetypal character in the song, "Johnny B. Goode". In the year 1964, he introduced some more of the famous numbers- "No Particular Place To Go", "You Never Can Tell", "Promised Land". However, his most famous remain the "My Ding-a-Ling" in the year 1972. Among his achievements, he sang at the White House in the year 1979. In the same year itself, he released his last studio album "Rockit" under Atco Records. The most popular songs among his creations include some of the songs as, "Run Run Rudolph", "Come On", "You Never Can Tell", "Back in the USA", "Confessing the Blues", "Too Much Monkey Business", "No Particular Place To Go" and "Brown Eyed Handsome Man."
